"...And you will praise the name of the Lord your God,
who has worked wonders for you..." (Hosea 2:26b)
Join Ann, Michelle and I today to stop, see and count God's gifts! Surely you have done great things, oh Lord, my God.
-today we load up the Uhaul truck, tomorrow we sign papers to close the houses and we unload.
-heavy, thick rain sinking deep into long grassy lawns
-hot coffee in my favorite cup
-my teens playing and packing below
-preschool son exclaiming when I walk into a room and hugging my knees before I can even get to his level
-friends coming various shifts to help carry boxes
-Your word, open before me.
"Be glad, O people of Zion, rejoice in the Lord your God!" (Hosea 2:23a)
"...for the open pastures are becoming green..." (excerpt from Hosea 2:22).
Count with me, friend?

Moving...done a ton of it Jennifer. God's blessings on you as you settle into a new home.
Yes, Jen, like Betty, I am sending you my blessings to settle into the new home and neighborhood.
The helping hands and the provisions from God, I thank them for you.
I am thanking God for my youngest son who is enrolled in a module course of his choice-Auto CAD. For the provisions to pay his tuition and allowance.
For the general good health of myself and my family.
I thank the Lord above and for friends here and in the net.
We will soon hear about how your new home.
As your California artist friend, I just want to know about those 2 photos!!
Moving is the worst. Thank goodness it is temporary! And what a blessing that the 2 escrows are closing simultaneously.
So many blessings to count, Jennifer. One of the best, though, is some big news and a prayer request that I posted on my blog earlier in the week. Our oldest daughter & her husband are pursuing adoption! Would love your prayers. Come read about it when you get unpacked. It's the June 17 post.
Also, my great-nephew is doing better and was dismissed from the hospital yesterday! He will be taking meds and may have some more hospitalizations in his future, but he may outgrow the condition.
So thankful for both of these blessings and so much more!
Theresa,
Fun to see you on here! Thanks for stopping by.

Cabinart/Jana,
I can't take any credit for those photos. They are Microsoft clip art. Sorry for not citing that -- it was a busy day. :)
I'm eager to hop over to your blog again,

Cheryl,
Adoption is such an exciting adventure! I am eager to read about it. I have several adopted relatives too and we ride that journey with them during the waiting and pursuing stages. What fun for you!
So glad that your great-nephew is doing better too.
